Indiana University basketball coach Tom Crean's handshake incident with Michigan assistant Jeff Meyer prompted memories of Crean's brother-in-law Jim Harbaugh's handshake brouhaha with Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz.

Might I suggest fist bumps for anyone attending the next Harbaugh family reunion?

Crean said he called Meyer, a former IU assistant under Kelvin Sampson, and apologized for the incident. Hopefully, the call was within NCAA rules or this story could make the Irony Hall of Fame.
