Preferred Auto will be giving away 300 free Christmas trees, on a first come, first served basis beginning at noon Sunday.
The trees will be divided among its locations at 9334 Lima Road and 5005 Illinois Road. Employees will direct traffic and help load the trees into people's cars and trucks.
No purchase necessary. “This is simply our gift to the community,” says Jay Leonard, owner of Preferred Auto in Fort Wayne, Auburn, Kendallville, and LaGrange, in a news release. “A way to say thank you.”
The event is sponsored by the Preferred Automotive Group and FM radio stations US 93.3 and Hot 107.9.
